You will receive an email or text to fill out any necessary forms online. This will make it more convenient for you and eliminate any paperwork in the office. One of these forms will be a COVID-19 screening questionnaire.
Upon arrival to our office:
Please wear a face mask. We will provide one for you if you don’t have one. Your temperature will be taken in the foyer. Only the patient should come in for the appointment if possible. One caregiver or family member may come in with the patient, and they must wear a face mask and will be screened.
At your appointment:
You will be asked to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer and then use a mouth rinse prior to your dental care. Our office utilizes Surgically Clean Air purifiers to remove harmful particles, pollutants, and other airborne contaminants and bacteria from the air in every operatory during all patient appointments. Dental implants provide patients in Livonia, MI, and surrounding communities with durable and long-lasting tooth replacement. They also enjoy new teeth that look natural and blend seamlessly with their smiles. But what makes up a dental implant, what makes them so different from traditional bridges or dentures?
If you have missing teeth, then your overall quality of life can suffer, from your ability to eat and speak, to the stability of your facial structure. To help replace missing teeth with implant technology, without making you wait for a lengthy healing process, your Livonia, MI, dentist can offer Teeth in a Day. Do you qualify for Teeth in a Day, and what does placement involve?
When people lose one or more of their natural teeth, this could eventually lead to serious complications, including the risk of additional missing teeth. In order to help preserve your smile and fill these gaps, we may suggest implant dentistry. In today’s blog, your Livonia, MI, dentist will discuss our mini dental implants and teeth in a day!
For people missing most or all of their teeth, problems could arise unless this problem is addressed. You could be at a higher risk of developing an aged appearance, or seeing your overall health suffer. In order to offer something more secure than traditional, removable dentures, your Livonia, MI, dentist may suggest an implant secured alternative! In fact, we may even be able to offer teeth in a day!
A dental bridge is a great way to address minor tooth loss, such as one to three lost teeth in a row. While effective, they do need to be replaced every 10 to 15 years as the jaw ridge and smile changes shape. However, your Livonia, MI, dentist can support them with dental implants, which means they could last considerably longer and offer a host of additional benefits!
At one time, securing your dentures with dental implants meant multiple visits, with placement taking place in one sitting, and the final prosthetic being placed after several months. However, your Livonia, MI, dentist can actually help address advanced tooth loss with lifelike and durable teeth in a day!
When you suffer from one or more missing teeth, then your overall oral health suffers and you could develop serious complications, including an aged appearance and further tooth loss. In order to address tooth loss with a long-lasting solution, and one that looks natural, your Livonia, MI, dentist may suggest a dental implant. But what makes them such a natural-looking replacement option?
One of the best things about receiving dental implants to replace your lost teeth is the highly lifelike way in which they rebuild your smile. Not only is your restoration virtually indistinguishable from the rest of your healthy, natural teeth, but the implant posts that anchor it to your jaw give it a highly lifelike level of comfort and stability. Once you receive your dental implants, though, ensuring their long-term success (and the continued good health of your smile) requires properly caring for your dental implants, teeth, and oral tissues on a consistent basis. Once a tooth is lost, the effects seem obvious. Depending on where the tooth was along your dental ridge, it might be more or less obvious to others when you smile. However, it’ll be hard to miss the gap every time you brush and floss your remaining teeth, or run your tongue over them. Despite the immediately noticeable impacts of losing a tooth, though, there are several less obvious impacts that make the benefits of dental implants more profound than you might realize. Designed to mimic your lost teeth roots, implants don’t just fill the gap in your smile; they also help reestablish all that your smile has lost along with your tooth and its root. (more…)
