Are Teeth In A Day Right For Me?

Right now, we’re closing our office to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect the more vulnerable members of our community from infection. However, when we can open our doors again, we look forward to helping residents of Livonia, MI, and surrounding communities enjoy full smiles again with dental implants, often in just one day!

The Dental Implant Process

Dental implants last much longer than removable dentures or crown-supported bridges. Instead of requiring replacement every 5 to 10 years, they can last for decades, potentially even a lifetime. This is due to the fact that the dental implants is actually inserted into the jawbone. Made from biocompatible titanium, this actually bonds with the bone tissue and acts as a new tooth root. We address a single missing tooth, or use several to support a bridge or even a full set of dentures, restoring our patients’ ability to eat their favorite foods and smile with pride.

Teeth in a Single Day

Traditionally, dental implants start with the placement, and then as the area heals and the new tooth root and jawbone tissue bond, patients need to wait three to six months before receiving the restoration or prosthetic that addresses the visible portion of the new teeth or smile. However, we have the ability to place a new set of teeth and restore them with a custom prosthetic in a single visit. You arrive with gaps in your smile, and leave with a full set of teeth!

Protecting Your Smile

What can you be doing to help protect your smile from tooth loss, or from losing additional teeth until we can see you again? Start by brushing your teeth when you wake up and again before going to bed, for about two minutes each session. Be sure you floss before bed too! Enjoy healthier snack options, cutting back on sugary foods and drinks when possible. Avoid smoking or using tobacco products, and let us know if you experience pain in your smile or a damaged tooth. With the right steps, you help preserve and safeguard your smile until our team can help you address your missing teeth. If you have any questions or concerns, then please contact our team today to learn more.
