Are Teeth-In-A-Day Right For You?

We offer a number of different dental implant options to address your missing teeth. With an implant and crown, we can address one missing tooth. We can also secure prosthetics, such as dental bridges and dentures. But can we accomplish this in a single day? In certain cases, we can! Are teeth-in-a-day right for you?

Answer Key

  1. True. Teeth-in-a-day is designed to replace every tooth with an implant secured prosthetic in a single visit. As a result, we prescribe this procedure for people that have lost most, if not all, of their teeth. The procedure involves removing ay remaining teeth before placing the implants and attaching the completed prosthetic.
  2. True. Now, this option isn’t the best choice for everyone and we will need to perform a comprehensive exam. We will look at the state of your jawbone, the causes of your tooth loss, and watch for any underlying oral health concerns, such as gum disease. We can then decide if you benefit from teeth-in-a-day.
  3. True. Yes, the same day. Typically, after inserting the implant portion, the patient needs to wait between three and six months for the rea to heal before we affix the prosthetic. But with this procedure, you leave the same day with a whole new smile.
  4. True. Since this option requires fewer implants, we can often help patients that have lost jawbone tissue as a result of tooth loss.
