Can Anyone Wear Them?

Since they are anchored in place with dental implants, you will need to have enough jawbone tissue to support them. If not, we can discuss bone grafting to address this issue. In addition, your gum health factors into your candidacy, as periodontitis (the advanced stage of gum disease) can lead to tooth loss and implant failure. We will work with you to decide which option will best replace your lost teeth and restore function to your smile.

How Do They Work?

Instead of relying on natural suction, like removable dentures, we will insert six to eight implant posts into one or both jaws. The area will the need to heal over a period of three to six months. Once healed, we will attach a completed prosthetic. The prosthetic is then fixed in place and cannot be removed. Patients enjoy greater stability as a result, with no fear of slippage during meals or when speaking.

Will My Implant Dentures Look Natural?

Yes. Each prosthetic is custom-made to blend with your smile and reflect your unique facial structure. The prosthetic contains a base made from acrylic that looks like natural gum tissue.
